The Irache wine fountain was dry. Too early for workers to hook up another tank so we didn't get to fill up our water bottle with free vino.
We have gone 4.6 miles and taking coffee break.
We are in Azqueta, in another mile we reach Villamayor de Monjardin. We will need to get some items as the next 7.7 are on unpaved roads with no services.
Buenos Dias. Hola. Good for you Chrystal. It is afternoon Kevin. We made it to Los Arcos early, 12:30. This stage was only 21.6 km (13.4 miles) we didn't get much sleep last night in the albergue and tough to get ready in the dark and tomorrow is 17.4 miles over up & down terrain so we wanted to get a double room. We are in an albergue (dorm/army barracks) but their 'double room' is one of the kids rooms upstairs where she lives! Strange but I guess it is like a bed & breakfast. I don't think they have a meal but there was a sign for a beer reception?!
Joyce's 1st thing is to take a shower & rest. I check out the town, find places to eat and have a cerveza. We each recover from our walk in our own way
Sitting outside with my cerveza and they brought this and pan. Locals pointed it to me and we are all ripping bread and making little sandwiches.
It is 26 degrees here. Cooler and overcast while walking though.
| Looks like fort/castle on top of hill. Didn't have to walk up past it. |

| Another Spanish town, another Catholic church. Definitely not Juniata County. |
Just saw the 3rd pickup in 8 days. Definitely not Juniata County!
Belinda: Beautiful photos . . . Yikes cold weeather! Love that you and mom have established your own ways of recovering from the long walks.
Garry: Oops forgot to convert for you metrically challenged. That is 79 degrees Fahrenheit. Quite nice when sitting in the shade bebe cerveza (drinking beer).
I must go get Joyce. Good to get responses from yinz.
Talked to an Irishman for a long time. He said a Hungarian died of a heart attack the 1st day up the mountain. Last heard of a dead out of shape guy from an eye witness from Washington. A lot of dead out of shape guys or mountain legend?
Chrystal: When does the spiritual thinking come into play? Like where you and mom start having big thoughts about how life is about love and happiness so you decide to just start giving all of your children money??
Kevin: Right now it is about pan and vino
Garry: I am learning patience. That is a virtue. I will be a patient when I get back from this & Vol State, end of July. I think ablation is 7/29-30? Had to move back for Vol State.
We are learning that when we want to check something like locked church doors or way directions, only one goes to check.
Joyce: Hi all! We ordered supper and a guitarist is playing beside us. Love it. He is much better than I am. Have pictures to send but busy. Walked, showered, did laundry now eat. Better start with the wine. Huge blister on little toe. Nice walk today.
